The Leviticus Fund was honored to help sponsor the “Pearl Anniversary” of Housing Visions at a reception in their home base of Syracuse.
Housing Visions owns and manages some 1,600 rental units for individuals and families, including populations with special needs. They’re a not-for-profit Developer, General Contractor, and Property Manager – and a catalyst for positive and sustainable change in neighborhoods in Upstate New York and Pennsylvania.
Since 2015, the Leviticus Fund has made lending commitments of $5.3 million to Housing Visions, creating or preserving 480 affordable or supportive units for people in Central New York and the North Country.
In 2021, we made a $250,000 Predevelopment loan for the conversion of the Oval Wood Dish (OWD) factory in Tupper Lake in New York’s Adirondack region. This loan will help them convert a 110,000-square-foot vacant factory into mixed-income housing and business use.
From a modest start revitalizing properties on the east side of Syracuse, Housing Visions is now improving the quality of housing and quality of life in 16 communities.
We offer our congratulations to the leaders and supporters of Housing Visions and look forward to continuing work with them to make their housing visions housing realities!
